We are so glad you click on our page! We are a 501(c)(3) public charity that supports artists, quality arts education, and rural culture in Elbert County, Colorado.

Mission Statement: We are a non-profit art organization open to all community members in Elbert County Colorado and surrounding area. We are an organization where community individuals across all generations can realize and express their creative potential. This is done through quality arts educational programming, lectures, gallery shows, exhibitions, concerts, festivals, and events that promote area artists and celebrate Elbert County's rural culture and agriculture history. Programs are inclusive but not limited to music, sculpture, painting, photography, graphic design, fiber art, literature, architecture, performing, and film.

Our logo was the result of a logo competetion 2024. The membership wanted our logo to come from outside the Board. We had a logo completion with a cash and a lifetime membership to ECAG. We received several great designs. After thoughtful consideration. ECAG chose this design by Christine Johnson. This is how Christine described the thought and artistic process in developing the logo:

"I believe ECAG will have a far reaching impact. This will be a place to find camaraderie and validation for an often undervalued calling. My inspiration came from the above and really created itself. The double circle represents a circle of friends, doubly strong. The wave of colors representing the unique art forthcoming from this group. Purples and oranges in particular represent the mountains and ranchland. Remaining colors are intwined as a reminder that art take a life often takes on a life its own in the process. ~ Christine Johnson
